Dear Modestino, what can I tell you…my wife and I just saw your “tale” and found ourselves with tears in our eyes reliving in 20 minutes that long and incredible day a year ago.
I speak of “tale” because it is not just a well-done edit. You have the ability and sensitivity to understand the flavor, the temperature, the energy, the emotions of the moment … then to capture them and return them in pictures.
And that is why each of your films has its own identity and is different from the others.
It was easy for us to choose you because we work in cinema, and we only needed to see a little of your material to know that you were the right person.
And speaking of filmmaking, I assure you that you have a look, a sense of framing, pacing, editing… that so many directors lack!

Io e Federico siamo grati a Modestino perché ci ha fatto rivivere tutte le emozioni di quel giorno, ha catturato le emozioni nostre e dei nostri parenti e amici. Abbiamo ricevuto messaggi anche da parte di persone che non sono potute venire quel giorno dove mi hanno detto “ meraviglioso tutto, ma meraviglioso sopratutto perché si respira aria di gioia, complicità e sentimenti veri” ed era proprio quello che Federico ed io volevo.
La cosa che più volevamo si percepisse da questo film è la semplicità e complicità tra Federico e me, e Modestino ci è riuscito perfettamente. Alcune parti le avevamo anche rimosse ma grazie a modestino abbiamo rivissuto tutto tutto tutto nel minimo dettaglio.
